Christmas with Dana By Sandy Cs331295@student.uq.edu.au Rating: NC-17 for sex scenes. (If you're under 17, PLEASE don't read this!!) Summary: Fox and Dana at Momma Scully's for Christmas. Disclaimer: These characters aren't mine. The idea for the story is though. I'll keep my idea and Chris, 1013 and Fox can keep their characters. :-P December 24th, 1996. "Come *on* Mulder, you're gonna make us late!" Scully called to him from his lounge room. Mulder was in his bathroom collecting the last of the things he'd need for the next few days. "Okay I'm done," he replied, slinging his bag over his shoulder and following Scully out to her car. The two of them were spending Christmas at Maggie Scully's place. Mulder's mother had been invited too, but she'd gone to spend Christmas with her sister and her family. She'd told Mulder to spend Christmas with the Scullys, and she'd see him at New Years. The drive to Maggie's was long in the Christmas Eve traffic, and Mulder and Scully passed the drive listening to Christmas carols. Scully would join in every now and then, but Mulder felt too embarrassed to sing. He did smile when Scully sang "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire" though. "You sound like," he paused and started again. "Samantha used to sing that song. I've always liked it." As he turned to look at her, Scully could see that he had tears in his eyes. Embarrassed by his sudden display of emotion, Mulder changed the subject. "We're here!" he said cheerily. "Good thing too, because this snow is really coming down." Climbing out of the car, he hurried to the trunk. Grabbing Scully's and his bags, he shut the trunk and hurried to where Scully was hugging her mother at the front door. "Hi Mrs Scully," he said, putting down their bags to give her a hug. "Now, none of that 'Mrs Scully' stuff Fox," she said in a mock scolding tone. "You can call me 'mom' like Dana does." Mulder looked a little uncomfortable, but nodded. "Okay mom," he said, trying it out. As Maggie settled them into their respective rooms, she raised her eyebrows at Dana. Dana mouthed 'we'll talk later' at her mother. Maggie responded by looking innocent. "I'm gonna take a shower and change my clothes if that's okay," Mulder said. "Sure Fox," Maggie said. "Dana and I will be in the kitchen." The two women went into the kitchen to prepare dinner. Maggie waited until she could hear the shower before speaking. "I see you two are still in separate rooms," she began. "Mom!" Dana protested. "We're friends. That's all." She didn't look too sure though. "And that's good honey, but don't you think you need a man in your life? And Fox is such a sweet guy. Good looking too." She glanced up from her work and winked at Dana. "Mom!" Dana all but shouted. "I'm not such an old fuddy-duddy that I don't remember what it's like to be young and attracted to the opposite sex. And I'm not so old that I haven't noticed the way you two look at each other." "Mother!" Dana was genuinely shocked. She hadn't realised her mother had noticed the way she looked at Mulder. She was going to have to be careful in the future. "It's okay, he feels the same way about you. I've seen him give you the same looks." Maggie started to smirk. "Anyway, I'm glad you brought him with you. It will be good for you two to spend some time together away from work, after all that's happened this year." "And thanks for inviting me mom," Mulder said from behind Dana who looked up shocked. How long had he been there? Her mother wouldn't let Dana catch her eye, as she stood, amused at her daughter's predicament. Dana turned around. "Why don't you help mom while I take a shower," she said, giving her mother a 'don't embarrass me' look. Her mother smiled and winked at her. Dana went off to take a shower, muttering about intruding mothers, and several unintelligible, and unrepeatable phrases. Scully wondered all the way through her shower what her mother and Mulder would find to talk about. She knew that while she was missing the two of them had become very close, and that after she was returned Mulder had become close to Melissa. Missy's death had hit him hard, and he'd never quite forgiven himself for her not being able to be at the hospital when Missy died. It wasn't his fault, but Scully had blamed him too. That was why the past 18 months had been so difficult for them. Mulder hadn't wanted to place Scully in dangerous positions, and so he'd "ditched" her on more occasions than she cared to remember. Scully resented being left out, and couldn't help but get angry at Mulder whenever he did it. She never did understand why he felt she wouldn't be able to cope. She'd coped with far more than that when she'd needed to. The tension between them, the "rift" if you will, had been caused in part by both of them. Mulder wanted to protect Scully, and Scully resented being protected. Things had been getting better slowly since Jeremiah Smith. They'd been sharing their feelings with each other as they had in the old days. The Melissa and the past lives incident had really screwed Mulder up, but he wouldn't talk about that. He felt it was too private to share even with his partner. _It probably didn't help that I scorned him for believing her story,_ thought Scully. _What did he expect me to do? I never believe him on things like that and he expects me to contradict him and come up with a scientific theory even when I might normally believe._ Scully stepped out of the shower and began to dry herself. _Sometimes it's like we're two halves of a whole. He is the half willing to believe anything and takes everything at face value, and I'm the one that needs proof, and tries to come up with a rational explanation._ Scully pondered that idea whilst she got dressed. _Two halves of a whole, I guess that's not such a bad thing,_ she decided. After brushing her hair, Scully decided that she would sneak up on Mulder and her mother and see if she could overhear some of their conversation. Standing just out of sight near the kitchen door, Scully heard a rather interesting conversation. "So, Fox, what do you think of Dana?" Mulder choked on his drink. "Uh, what do you mean? She's a good friend, and a good agent." Mulder stared down into his glass, finally coming up to meet Maggie's gaze. "I mean, what do you think of her as a woman? Do you find her attractive?" Maggie's gaze was too much for Mulder, who had to take a long drink, and then couldn't bring his eyes back up again. "Uh, well, yeah. I mean I don't get around much, but I think she's very pretty. A bit short though." "I am *not* short!" Dana shouted, rushing into the kitchen. "Am I mom?" she asked, needing reassurance. "Of course not honey, Fox is just overly tall that's all," Maggie reassured her daughter. Mulder couldn't resist a devious grin. "Knew that'd get you in here Dana," he said mischievously, giving Dana a wink. Dana narrowed her eyes, and mouthed "I'll get you later," to him. "Is that a promise?" was his wicked reply. Dana's response to that was a punch on the arm as she went to put a table cloth on the table. After the table was set, the three of them sat down to dinner. Dinner on Christmas Eve was a simple affair, consisting of tossed salad and pizza. Maggie's pizza was delicious, and Mulder at a whole one by himself. He and Dana offered to do the dishes whilst Maggie got ready for bed. She said she felt tired, but she didn't look tired. She said goodnight and kissed and hugged the partners before she left the kitchen. As she left, she smirked at Mulder who smirked back, and winked at Dana whose reply was a scowl. "So, Dana, how much of our conversation did you hear before you decided that you weren't vertically challenged?" Mulder asked her. "Like I'd tell you!" Dana replied, "and since when do you call me Dana?" she finished. "Since I don't think it's polite to call you by your surname in front of your mother, and since we're not at work now. Just remember you're not to call me Fox. I know your mother does, but that's different." He handed her a dish towel and began to wash the dishes. "I heard lots of your conversation before I made my presence known," he smiled down at her, "but I'm not going to tell you just how much. I'll let you stew over that one." He skipped out of the way as Dana tried to flick his butt with the dish towel, and she missed. That started a fight as Mulder aimed water at her, and she tried to hit him with the dish towel, the conclusion of which was Dana slipping in the water and Mulder catching her under her arms as she fell. As Mulder set her upright, Dana tried to calm the astonishingly intense emotions that his touch stirred in her. Her face went bright red, and she tried to calm her breathing, which had accelerated to an embarrassing speed. She took a sudden step backwards, but Mulder's grip pulled him with her and the two of them slipped on the wet floor. As they fell, Mulder tried both to catch Dana, and not to fall on top of her. Dana fell, giggling to the wet floor, with Mulder spreadeagled over her. He'd put his arms and legs out so as not to crush her with his body. Unfortunately his hands landed in water, and he crashed on top of Dana, who stopped giggling and looked up at him. Mulder tried to get up from his compromising position over Dana, but every time he put his hands out they slipped on the wet floor. He finally gave up, and just lay on her. "So, Dana, what do we do now? Should we call your mother to come and help us up?" "Mulder you've got to be kidding! If she saw us here, she'd jump to conclusions about how we ended up here. If you can't get up, then I guess we'll just have to stay like this until the floor dries a little." Dana smiled wickedly. "Besides, it might not be so bad lying here in this position." She raised her eyebrows. "What do you say partner?" Mulder had never seen Dana like this before, and it startled him. He said nothing, his only response being to settle himself more comfortably on her, and putting his lips over hers in a long and passionate kiss. "How was that," he asked her when they came up for air.All Dana could do was moan, and pull his head back down for more. After about half an hour of necking, Mulder decided the floor was dry enough for them to move to a more comfortable location. He stood, somewhat gingerly, and helped Dana to her feet. She was limping, so he picked her up and carried her to the hall. "Whose room?" he whispered in her ear. "The bed in mine is bigger," Dana replied, "but yours is further from mom's." "We'll just have to be quiet then," Mulder replied, opening the door to Dana's room and walking inside. He put Dana on the bed, and then locked her door. Before continuing further, they held a quick whispered conversation. Dana wanted to have a hot shower after getting soaked on the kitchen floor, and Mulder wanted to get warm by stripping their wet clothes off and getting into Dana's warm bed. Dana got her way of course, and they crept out of Dana's room into the bathroom, which was at the other end of the hall, as far away from Maggie's room as they could hope to get. In the bathroom, Dana got suddenly shy about her body, and wouldn't let Mulder watch her get undressed. She insisted on showering alone, and Mulder started arguing with her. The conclusion to the argument was Mulder stripping in front of her, and turning her to face him. He pulled her into the already running shower with him, and began to wash her hair. The feeling of Mulder washing her hair was so erotic, that Dana thought she wouldn't be able to wait until he had finished rinsing. The instant he was finished, she turned to him, soap in her hand, and began to wash his body. So slowly and deliberately she did it, that Mulder was aroused within seconds of her touching him. He moaned with sheer pleasure as she washed each portion of his body, slowly, and with a gentle doctor's touch, saving his genitals for last. Dana soaped her hands with heaps of suds, put down the soap, and began to suds Mulder's penis. She enjoyed the feeling of it, hard in her hands, and savoured the look of agonised pleasure on his face. She moved on to his testicles, feeling them soft in her hands. She jostled them around a few times, playing with them, then let them gently rest beneath his penis again. She rinsed him clean, and then took his penis in her mouth. It was far too large for her tiny mouth, so she ran her hands the length of it as she ran her tongue over its sensitive tip. Mulder reached over and turned the shower off. He then opened the shower screen and pulled Dana off him. He lifted her onto the shower mat, and dried her slowly with a towel, lingering as he gently dried her genitals. Mulder then grabbed a towel for himself, and dried himself quickly. He put the towel around his waist, and Dana put her towel around her small body. They tiptoed quickly back to Dana's room. Once inside, Mulder locked the door, threw his towel across the room, stripped Dana's towel off her, and pushed her onto the bed. "Lie still," Mulder said to Dana, who was struggling to sit up. "Now I'll pleasure you. Just lie there and enjoy it." Mulder reached down and found Dana's clitoris, which had grown large and hard throughout their foreplay. He gently stroked it with his fingers until Dana moaned, then grabbed her hands and got her to continue what he had started. He then began to masturbate himself until he'd nearly reached climax. He could tell by looking at Dana's face that she had reached the same point. Dana paused for a moment, grabbing her purse which was lying unheeded on the bed. She pulled out a condom, ripped the foil, and unrolled in on Mulder's long, hard penis. He slipped inside her then, and lay his body on top of hers. He worked up a rhythm which Dana gladly followed. They kissed, their tongues sliding over each other, tasting the other's mouth with dangerous passion. After Mulder's orgasm, he kept up the rhythm up until Dana's followed minutes later. His rhythm slowed after that, until he finally rolled off her and lay breathless next to her. They slept that night wrapped in each other's arms, their energy spent and their needs satisfied. In the early hours of the morning, Mulder heard Maggie walking to the bathroom. He gently disentangled himself from Dana, and grabbed his towel, wrapping himself in it. He then crept from Dana's room, leaving the door unlocked. He was shutting the door to his room when he heard the bathroom door open. He hoped she hadn't heard the click as the door shut, but suspected she had. "Merry Christmas Fox," Maggie Scully said as she passed his door. Mulder smacked his forehead. Oh no! The piles of wet clothes in the bathroom! Now she'd know for certain what had happened. Dana was so neat that she wouldn't have left her clothes in the middle of the bathroom floor unless she was in a hurry. Darn! Oh well, Dana was her daughter, and she would've found out eventually. Mulder quickly dressed, and followed Maggie out to the kitchen, where she was making coffee. Oh no!! We didn't finish the dishes either! Mulder sighed. "Why such a big sigh Fox?" Maggie asked him. "I guess we left a bit of a mess last night on our way to bed." Mulder tried to stop himself from looking so guilty. "I don't mind," Maggie said. "At least you were quiet. I barely heard a sound." Mulder jumped, startled, and a red flush began to creep up his face. "I was hoping that would happen. You have no idea how long I have been waiting for it. I'm happy for you two, and I hope that this won't ruin your friendship. I know you've been going through a rough patch at the moment, and I hope this will give the two of you some reason to be good friends again." Mulder thought about it for a minute. "I hope so too," he said. THE END.
